Within Bitteswell’s thriving community, our small, friendly village school has strong links to the Church, residents, families and local schools.
Based on a Christian ethos of ‘Learn, Love and Believe’ a team of dedicated and professional staff ensure a range of rich, challenging and exciting learning opportunities for the children in a supportive and stimulating environment.
The school still stands on and around the original school house built in 1888. Changes to the building, over the years, now provide teaching areas to meet modern demands, encompassing four classrooms, a library, ICT facilities, kitchen, music room, hall and outdoor classroom.
Set within the peaceful and attractive school grounds are a TrimTrail, Quiet Garden, Wildlife Garden, Patio Area with seating and Table Top Games.
The Governors and Friends of Bitteswell School work diligently in partnership with the school to support the development and needs of all the children, further proving the strong community commitment.
We would welcome the opportunity to show you around our caring, happy and successful school which in June 2009 achieved the Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ status.
